For 70 years, Litostroj Hydro has established itself as a key player in the global hydroelectric sector, specializing in the supply of turbines and renewable energy production equipment. Eager to move closer to the Greater Montreal area to attract new talent and support the growth of its operations, the company chose to relocate its headquarters to Brossard. A decision that was both strategic and deeply human. Mandated to design these new spaces, VAD Designers d’espaces imagined a workplace that reflects the company’s image.
Previously located in the heart of the nature and close to the mountain, the leadership team wanted to preserve that strong nature connection in their new environment: bright, calming offices in harmony with nature, while embodying Litostroj Hydro’s corporate DNA.
To bring this vision to life and create a space that meets their expectations, VAD developed a concept centered on a warm atmosphere, featuring wooden accents shaped like rounded waves, concrete on selected walls, and a palette of blues evoking the hydroelectric universe. Finally, details such as turbine-inspired light fixtures and acoustic panels reminiscent of ocean waves complete the design, giving the space a unique identity.
Guided by Litostroj Hydro’s culture of team spirit and conviviality, the layout promotes collaboration through generous open areas, flexible small meeting rooms, and a large multi-purpose room that opens onto the cafeteria. The result is an environment designed to foster both professional synergy and meaningful moments of connection, within a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.
