For 70 years, Litostroj Hydro has established itself as a key player in the global hydroelectric sector, specializing in the supply of turbines and renewable energy production equipment. Wanting to move closer to downtown Montreal to attract new talent and support the growth of its operations, the company decided to relocate its head office from Bromont to Brossard. A decision that was both strategic and human. VAD had the privilege of supporting Litostroj Hydro throughout this transition.
Previously located in the heart of the nature and close to the mountain, the directors wanted to preserve the same spirit in their new environment: offices that are bright, calming, and in harmony with nature, while embodying the company’s identity.
To bring this vision to life and create a space that meets their expectations, VAD developed a concept centered on a warm atmosphere, featuring wooden accents shaped like rounded waves, concrete on selected walls, and a palette of blues evoking the hydroelectric universe. Finally, details such as turbine-inspired light fixtures and acoustic panels reminiscent of ocean waves complete the design, giving the space a unique identity.
Litostroj Hydro’s culture, rooted in teamwork and friendliness, guided the layout. The offices encourage collaboration with large open areas, small versatile meeting rooms, and a spacious modular room that can open onto the cafeteria. A workplace designed to foster both professional synergy and shared moments, in a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.
