At the 19th edition of the Grands Prix du Design, VAD is proud to announce that it has received 5 certifications, including 3 Gold and 2 Silver.

An interior design firm specializing in the design and planning of corporate, commercial and institutional spaces, VAD places human experience, functionality and identity at the heart of its projects.

The Grands Prix du Design is an international competition of Quebec origin that celebrates excellence, creativity and the talent of professionals and companies in the fields of architecture, design and creation.

Five certifications recognizing four very different projects that all share one thing in common: strong ideas, teamwork and a great deal of pleasure in bringing them to life.

BDC Boucherville — Gold Certification

Office: Small and Medium

BDC Boucherville called on VAD to design its new offices, with the goal of creating a welcoming, human and functional environment. Inspired by WELL principles, the concept focuses on well-being, eco-responsibility and the use of local materials. The layout offers a balance between collaboration, concentration and flexibility, while respecting BDC’s standards.

Axium Infrastructure — Gold and Silver Certifications

Gold: Interior + Acoustics & Sound Comfort Silver: Office: Small and Medium

Axium Infrastructure called on VAD to create offices that reflect its expertise: rigorous, high-performing and sustainable. The concept conveys notions of stability and continuity through a refined, bright and warm aesthetic, punctuated by colourful accents and local works of art.

Aux pieds des arbres — Gold Certification

Office / Living Spaces — Café & Dining

As part of a design competition, VAD reimagined a space of nearly 14,000 sq. ft. to transform it into a true contemporary living environment. Inspired by the forest floor, the concept features organic forms, natural materials, abundant greenery and evocative lighting to create a warm and soothing atmosphere. Designed as a true hub for connection, the space encourages encounters, creativity and disconnection.

Collège Montmorency — Silver Certification

Education: College / CEGEP & University

Collège Montmorency called on VAD, in consortium with rubic architecture, to design its new Architectural Technology department at Espace Montmorency. The layout focuses on flexibility and modularity to adapt to various pedagogical and collaborative needs. Natural light, warm materials and biophilic elements create a bright, stimulating learning environment that promotes well-being.

A recognition of our approach to space design

Behind these distinctions are, above all, teams, clients and collaborations that allow ideas to take shape. Thank you to everyone who contributed to these projects and who trusts us to imagine spaces that have an impact on everyday life.

And above all, congratulations to the entire VAD Tribe!
