The mandate
- Designing multi-purpose spaces to ensure occupancy, flexibility, and resilience in workspaces.

- Establish a sustainable development concept that can adapt to future changes while remaining relevant.
The National Bank wanted to transform the layout of its spaces dedicated to its Commercial Banking Services and Private Banking 1859 branch in Laval, an environment shared by employees and clients. To gain a clear understanding of their needs and deepen the reflection, our team led several looping workshops, a collaborative process designed to gather employee feedback and create a space that meets everyone’s expectations.
The client aimed to create a distinctive and dynamic environment that improves the experience of both employees and clients. VAD Designers d’espaces developed a flexible and sustainable concept, designed to easily adapt to future projects, whether administrative spaces, renovations, or the development of National Bank.
The challenge: balancing several dualities:
- Ensuring the necessary confidentiality while maintaining a collaborative spirit;
- Designing an environment that is original and dynamic, while respecting the National Bank brand.
To meet these challenges, the layout was organized into multiple areas that foster collaboration and flexibility: a variety of meeting spaces, focused work zones, and open-plan workstations.
Materials and colors were carefully selected to create an inviting and refined atmosphere. Distinctive color accents reflecting the corporate identity can also be seen, along with the integration of artwork and the use of locally sourced furniture and materials.
The result is a distinctive space where every individual is recognized and valued, reinforcing the human experience at the heart of the environment. It is a space that inspires, brings people together, and showcases the culture of the National Bank.
