On October 20 in Montréal, the 14th edition of the Grands Prix du Design took place. This multidisciplinary design and architecture competition annually recognizes projects completed around the world.
Selected by an international jury composed of renowned figures in the design industry, the submitted projects are analyzed according to rigorous evaluation criteria based on: aesthetics, form and function, creativity and innovation, the expertise of the designers, the integration of technology, social responsibility and the outstanding quality of the project.
For the creation of the Montréal FinTech Station, VAD won the following awards:

Gold Winner: Office / Office 5,400 – 54,000 sq. ft. (500 – 5,000 m²)

Inaugurated in December 2019, the Montréal FinTech Station is an incubator for young companies in the financial technology sector. Located at 4 Place Ville Marie, the Station is a workplace and multipurpose space for exchange, learning and networking. Its unique design was closely guided by the principles of WELL certification, prioritizing human well-being from the very beginning to the end of the design and construction process.
